Hey, this is new! What's it say?

Wait a second......how'm I s'posed to get to that birdseed???

I bought this new squirrel baffle last week and was thrilled to see that it actually worked to keep this fat little gray squirrel from getting to this birdfeeder by his usual route. I wonder how long it will take this squirrel to figure out that he can actually jump to this feeder from another branch or the tree trunk????
I give it two days to figure it out.
ReplyDeleteLOL Richard! I'll let you know....
ReplyDeleteI'll take that bet and raise Richard by a 1/2 day!
ReplyDeleteI say he figured it out already.:)
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to report unless he dies laughing he should be eating birdseed very shortly. My method is to have my GSD lie in ambush under the deck and when the snow is soft he rushes out and grabs them. Since this is a G rated blog for violence, I won't go into any further details. :)
ReplyDeleteDang but those squirrels are SMART! Fun to watch though...
ReplyDeleteShould I drive over this morning and let you know when you come home, what time he made it. LOL
ReplyDeleteMOM
I think it is a cool idea! Those guys are just to smart. I hope you tell us who won the bet!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with that!!!
ReplyDeleteOne baffled squirrel! LOL-LOL
ReplyDeleteTee hee hee... shhhhh.... we won't tell him!
ReplyDeleteUPDATE (2-24-10): Squirrel still hasn't figured out he can get to this feeder from UNDER the baffle. It's still much easier to feast on sunflower seeds in the ground feeder tray where he spent several hours this morning.
ReplyDeletewow..that baffle is working great!
