Baffled Bushytail

Hey, this is new! What's it say?

Wait a second......how'm I s'posed to get to that birdseed???

I bought this new squirrel baffle last week and was thrilled to see that it actually worked to keep this fat little gray squirrel from getting to this birdfeeder by his usual route. I wonder how long it will take this squirrel to figure out that he can actually jump to this feeder from another branch or the tree trunk????

  5. I'm sorry to report unless he dies laughing he should be eating birdseed very shortly. My method is to have my GSD lie in ambush under the deck and when the snow is soft he rushes out and grabs them. Since this is a G rated blog for violence, I won't go into any further details. :)

  11. UPDATE (2-24-10): Squirrel still hasn't figured out he can get to this feeder from UNDER the baffle. It's still much easier to feast on sunflower seeds in the ground feeder tray where he spent several hours this morning.
