Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone! I'm looking forward to learning how to use the new camera Mr. Johnson gifted me with for Christmas. I see a little bit of a problem coming up here with learning to divide my time between 2 enjoyable activities........so far, I haven't knitted a stitch this morning, but I did manage to take these wonderful pictures out the dining room window.

An abundance of peanut-loving bluejays are my best subjects so far!

When I die, I want to be reincarnated as a bluejay!

Don't even think about trying to get this last peanut Dude!

The Victor!!

Chilly doves!

Chickadees are good subjects too -- esp. since this mealworm feeder is right outside the window.
Oops! Almost got that one!
OK, let's eat!

K. TKS. BYE!!

Looking good! I might be able to see my feeders from inside the new RV by next week.

I received a gift card for a birder store and can't wait to get a wreath feeder! Thanks for the pics.

Hi Gaelyn,
Good luck to you on that. Sounds like you're getting closer to calling that RV home at least!

Thanks Mama Pea. Still working on getting back into a more regular blog posting & reading routine too!

Thanks Ruth. I'm glad you like the bluejays -- I sure enjoy watching them too.

Thanks Mel. I'm going to try and tear myself away from Facebook and get back to blogging more this year.

Thanks Lynne. I'm looking forward to seeing how the new camera works on Golden Eagles too! :-)

Thanks Mom. I'm really glad he got that great camera for me too.

Thanks Jayne. Even for people who don't have bluejays on their "favorites" list, you've got to admit that they are a beautiful bird. I love the brilliant splash of color in our stark Minnesota winter landscape.

Cool Marianne! Hope you can find a peanut wreath. Be sure to note how long it takes the bluejays to find those peanuts. Mine are trained now to show up within a minute after I've hung the filled wreath back in the tree!
