Mother's Day 2008

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there!

Turn up the volume and enjoy this Mother's Day concert by the Rose-Breasted Grosbeak.....go ahead and listen even if you're not a mom! :-D

He's been singing in my crabapple tree for most of the morning. I think he enjoys harmonizing with the windchime!

That was a beautiful concert. Thanks for sharing it. That's one bird I won't find out here in California. I hope your mom enjoyed her Mothers Day, too.

Thank you for the beautiful gift of song for Mother's Day! I have been enjoying these beauties myself this weekend. I hope you had a wonderful weekend.

Thanks Jayne. I was so thrilled to have him singing right outside the window!

Hi Ruth,
The windchime is hanging right below the window where I took this video. It seems like it's always windy around here, so the windchime is "singing" almost all the time.

Thanks Mon@rch. It's always nice to enjoy a "free" concert!

You're welcome Lisa--I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Hi Mary C,
We celebrated Mother's Day at our house and the Grosbeaks were in attendance right outside the window, so everyone got to enjoy them in "real time."

Thanks Marsha, it was a nice weekend. Fortunately the sun came out and it was much nicer on Sunday than originally predicted.

Happy Mother's Day to you, Ruthie! You are motherly, you know.

I love the Grosbeak video. What a nice bird to hear on a special day.

My beautiful Grosbeak hasn't returned but that's OK.

Mary
