Extreme Kitty Approval

Looks like Penny has given her kitty approval to the sweater project I'm currently working on.
I'm sure gray cat fur will definitely be a great accent to this design, don't you?

  1. Every one needs a "fur" to go with every outfit. Have you ever made her something knitted she can call her own? She just trys things on to see if they fit. It is a cute pic of her snoozing in the sun.

  4. Oh, this looks so familiar. Maybe you can claim it's angora wool?

  5. I love the sweater design and believe cat hair would be incorporated at some point in time. Beside, what a cozy place for Penny to sleep.

  6. I would say Kitty knows a good thing when she sees it.

  7. Hi Mom,
I've made a couple of small blankets for Penny, but like Sophie, I think she'd rather sleep on something that smells like me.

    Hi Carolann,
Penny always seems to be cold -- she can lay in the direct sun for hours!

    Hi Tommy,
Thanks for stopping by. Good to hear from you and all is well here. I hope you're taking good care of Mel while she's in "thesis mode."

    Hi Donna,
Actually it's some nice Aran wool direct from Ireland, and the best thing is that it's superwash, so cat hair removal is much easier.

Thanks Gaelyn and you're right--there's no way this sweater will ever be without at least a few cat hairs!

LOL! You got that right Lisa!

  8. Penny is just trying to add speciality fibers to the piece! Most everything I make has some.

  11. Kitties just love to help with knitting, don't they?

Hey, that cute sock shaped book you have? What's the name of it? I'm thinking about trying to knit socks...
