Caption Contest #2

It's time for another Nature Knitter Caption Contest. I hope that one of you can come up with a clever caption for this cute pair of House Finches (photographed in my backyard).

Please leave your caption in the "Comments" section of this blog. Entries should be posted by 8:00 PM (CDT) on Thursday, April 9th. The winning caption will be chosen by totally impartial judges (appointed by me!) and the winner will be announced on Saturday, April 11th.

The contributor of the winning caption will receive this copy of "1,029 Backyard Birding Secrets" published by our friends at Birds & Blooms magazine.

Good luck!

Cheer up dear. Thanks to the stimulus package we should be getting a birdbath with a solar-powered water pump any time now.

What? You want to stay here in the sunbelt of southern Minnesota instead of heading off to the Canadian Artic like we're supposed to

"That is the absolute last time we are going to that feeder again. That cowbird was making a pass at you, and you LOVED it! If just one of our chicks look a little funny, I'll leave and you will have to raise them on your own!"
