9 out of 10 Cats Prefer

9 out of 10 cats prefer to share their home with a knitter!

And if you're wondering about that 10th cat, it's only because that kitty was unlucky enough to choose a non-knitting hooman to share its life with.

Now that's one contented looking cat. And so nice of you, Ruthie, to knit that detailed piece for her to snuggle into. ;o)

LOL Mama Pea! I was sewing the sleeve into that sweater and left it on the floor to go & make supper....Penny has some sort of radar that knows when a knitting project has been put somewhere that she can lay on it. I think she found this sweater within 5 minutes.

LOL--every cat I have ever had loves the knitting. So great to crawl on and then knead knead knead.

When I was a knitter, that's where my cats always were, on top of the going projects.

What an adorable cat, she is keeping it warm until you pick it up again. Cats know what to do to keep their owners happy.

Hi Donna,
Fortunately, she's managed to avoid being impaled on knitting needles too.

Hi Lynne,
Penny had her front claws removed, so she can knead w/o ever snagging!

You got that right Ruth!
Cat + Yarn = Happiness

Hi Gaelyn,
Penny really loves it when I forget to close the closet door where all my unfinished projects and winter sweaters are stored.

Hi Mom,
Maybe I should start knitting more stuff with gray yarn so Penny's fur isn't so obvious!

That's so precious. I have a wool eater...Bob is his name. He's not allowed near my yarns or fibers, sadly, for him. It took me quite a while to catch him at his game. He particularly liked eating handspun yarns!
