Happy Thanksgiving

Gobble, Gobble

Here's my Top Ten List of the things I'm most thankful for this Thanksgiving (and every other day, as far as that goes):
  1. My health
  2. My spousal unit
  3. My family
  4. My pets
  5. Enough yarn and patterns to keep me knitting the rest of my natural life
  6. A job - an added benefit is that I enjoy it and work with some great people
  7. My high-speed internet connection
  8. My Netflix subscription
  9. My backyard wildlife habitat - which enables me to see all of the wonderful birds and wildlife up close and personal
  10. My blog and all the wonderful people I've met this year through blogging

Happy Thanksgiving and safe travels to everyone.

I would say Amen to all this and more.

I know Daisy is loved. You can see it in her eyes. She will get lots of treats tomorrow as will Luna. Poor Luna got her holiday bath. She didn't look dirty but she sort of smelled like a dog. Isn't that strange??tee hee...

A Happy Thanksgiving to you too.

Hi Lisa,
It was pretty easy to come up with 10 things real quick.

I'm thinking a holiday bath wouldn't be the worst idea for my hounds either...

Hi Marsha,
I'm thinking most everyone else reading my post today would have similar lists, don't you?

Thank you Lynne, your smiling face was one of those I was thinking of when I wrote #10.

I like your list. I'm thankful for meeting you, Ruthie. I remember the first time you visited my blog and gave me good advice about the "gangsta birds".

You are a gem.

Happy Thanksgiving and don't forget some turkey slices for the pets. :o)

Hugs,
Mary

Hey Mare,
I feel the same way about you {HUG}. I'm thankful that we have so many common interests to share via blogging and look forward to the day when we can meet in person.

I'm sure my pets will be keeping a close eye on the turkey slices and more!! Grammy will see they get their fair share.

Hi Ruth,
I'm looking forward to nice weather for our long weekend too. I have Friday off work and am going in search of Tundra Swans over on the Mississippi.

Thank you Trixie. I hope you have a good holiday also. (I will!)

Hi Mon@rch,
Thank you. Me too! ( I see your post also featured a turkey--great minds still thinking alike....tee hee)

Thank you for a lovely Thanksgiving
Day dinner even though I didn't eat much it was fun and your 4 walls are by far much better then mine, all the artwork and stuffed animals are so interesting. We haven't been to your place for a while so it was a treat for me and for Dad.

I do hope you had a delightful 2-day holiday, Ruthie. If you are like me, it will be tough having to go back to work on Monday. My biggest problem for Monday is that I've been out for two weeks and I will have to go through 2-weeks' worth of mail. Yuck!

Hi Jayne,
I hope you all had a good Thanksgiving also. It bet it was nice to have your sister and her kids to help you celebrate.

Hi Mom,
I'm glad you and Dad were able to come too.

Hi Mary,
Two weeks? I envy you the days off but not the back-to-work. I'm sure your e-mail box will be loaded!!

Hi Ruthie,

What a wonderful idea and a great list! I think my list overlaps quite a lot with yours. And I am truly grateful to have met some pretty cool people via blogging, especially you! I had no idea when I dipped my toe in the water how rewarding the people would be.
