I spotted this little guy in the garden this morning. How in the world do they get in? The fence is stapled down all the way around the bottom edge.
Fortunately for this little bun (and my garden) he was feasting on the dandelion leaves, so I let him stay. Maybe the abundance of dandelions growing in there will distract him from the peas and beans.......

Maybe he crawled in when he was a tiny bunny and now he's grown while eating there!
Never ever underestimate the cunning of a bunny.
Cute though, isn't he (or she)?
I'll bet he went right through the fence. If they can get their head through, they're in!
I think it's very generous of you to let him stay. Once he discovers those peas and beans, dandelion leaves will never be the same!
Haven't been by for awhile but see that the wildlife are still visiting RuthieJ. Don't ya wonder how that little turd got in there? Mighty generous of you to let him stay while. Thanks for the birthday wishes. Turning 60 isn't so bad....beats the alternative.
LITTLE BUGGER!! Maybe it got in when it was little and decided to stay, it sure isn't going to share with other bunnies. They are so cute to a point, just keep on eating dandelions, that way no weeding.LOL
MOM
Where there's a will.... :c) He's cute just the same!
I have rabbit twins that visit daily. They loved my lilies.
This afternoon I looked outside and saw something on the grass in the backyard. I thought it looked awfully large to be one of the twins and when I looked more carefully, it was an OWL! It was beautiful! I was afraid it was injured, but it flew into the magnolia tree. You think it was just squirreling around?
Smart like Peter Cottontail.
I think the holes are big enough for that rabbit to get through. I watch them come under our fence and they can flatten right out and get through an impossibly small space. We have an abundance of rabbits in our city neighbourhood.
Too funny!
Wow...this little bunny looks so cute... :) Nice blog
Bunnies certainly are sneaky critters.
haha very tricky little creature maybe he just hop in the hole of your fence . well i think the holes are big that's why she fits on it . anyways thank you for sharing this post . maybe ill try to put some fence over my garden . and move my wind spinners at the other side .. have a nice day to all .
